Although the Kirkland Signature Water Filtration System has a long name, using it is simple. It passes our testing with Excellent grades for flow rate and clogging, although it isn’t NSF-approved for removing lead.
This pitcher is for you if your tap water smells awful, tastes bad, or is contaminated by high amounts of chlorine.
We looked for a new Brita pitcher after the one we had started leaking all over our refrigerator. We were surprised to discover this brand-new Kirkland Signature water filtration pitcher for around $20 in a Costco warehouse right next to Brita. It has comparable filters available in a 10-pack and comes with 2 filters, just as the Brita.
The best part is that this Kirkland brand does a far better job of filtering out the reasonable chemicals we’re seeking to remove from our drinking water at a considerably lesser cost. Additionally, Brita filters, which we still possess, work with the Kirkland, which allows us to save even more money.
The Brita filters do fit properly, so we can easily use them up until we need the Kirkland refills, which are also less expensive than the Britas.
We will use the Kirkland filters that came with the Kirkland pitcher first because the flavor of the Kirkland-filtered water is wonderful. We appreciate the Kirkland pitcher’s seamless sides, which give us confidence that it will never leak despite being made of the same sturdy plastic as the Brita.
We honor and applaud Costco for creating yet another superb Kirkland Signature item! I greatly appreciate it.
